Lots of business lawyers only do "transactional" work.  They never step foot in a courtroom, so they never see how the contracts and other legal documents they have drawn up are enforced.  On the other hand, lots of litigators only do litigation.  They don't know what its like to negotiate a deal and then draw up the legal documents that are supposed to protect their clients' interests in the deal.  We believe it is important to do both.  It's difficult for a transactional lawyer to draft a document that will stand up in court if he or she has never stepped foot in court.  Likewise, it's difficult for a litigator to try to convince a judge or jury of the intent and meaning of a contract or other legal document if he or she has never been involved in negotiating an actual deal.

Kuhn Firm is a small law firm which takes pride in assisting its clients in their business dealings and transactions as well as fighting for for their rights in court if the need arises.  We are not intimidated by the size of our opponents or the reputation of their lawyers. As the saying goes, the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

As business owners ourselves, we believe that you have the right  to expect a business lawyer who can fearlessly resolve your legal issues in a timely and efficient manner. At Kuhn Firm, you will receive the personal attention of a partner-level attorney with over twenty-five years' experience. Your business law matter will not be passed off to an inexperienced associate.

We firmly believe that you have a right to know what is going on with your case.  As such, you will be provided the cell phone number for the partner you are working with.  You will not need to worry about being screened by a receptionist before being transferred to your attorney; you will not be informed that your attorney is not available because he is "in a meeting, "in court," or "at a deposition," unless it is true and, if so, your call will be promptly returned when your attorney is available.
