Peggy has over 35 years of litigation experience with a focus on insurance law combined with 10 years of legal cost consulting for corporations and law firms.

She was previously a Partner in the Vedder Price law firm in the Litigation Group where she handled complex commercial litigation including bank fraud litigation. As Chair of the Insurance Law Group she handled insurance recovery actions involving Financial Institution Bonds, coverage issues concerning Directors and Officers polices and litigation of all aspects of general liability policies including environmental coverage. Her previous experience also included the defense of product liability and construction litigation.

Peggy subsequently joined the Legal Fee Solutions group of a major law firm where she developed an expertise in all aspects of Legal Spend Analysis including retrospective and prospective legal fee audits, litigation management and legal operations. She provides consulting services for both law firms and corporations to assist them with legal spend analysis and process optimization. She acts as a facilitator for in-house counsel and/or national coordinating counsel serving as the point person to coordinate all aspects of active litigation including budget preparation and tracking, work scope plans, development of billing guidelines and custom codes, development of protocols for all phases of the litigation, staffing recommendations, monthly invoice review for compliance with guidelines and work scope plans, vendor procurement, legal rate negotiations, eDiscovery coordination and trial logistics. Her consulting services specific to law firms focus on converting invoice data to analytics that speak the language of business for both marketing purposes and case management.
